Carly Timm-Bijold was born and raised in Duluth, Minnesota, and earned her undergraduate degree in Government from Georgetown University. During her time at Georgetown, Ms. Timm-Bijold’s positions with Senator Amy Klobuchar (D-MN), the lobbying firm of Lockridge Grindal Nauen P.L.L.P., and The Legal Aid Society of Washington DC inspired a passion for advocacy which motivated her to seek out a law degree. She earned her J.D. from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, where she served as Production Editor of the Loyola of Los Angeles Law Review, President of the Women’s Law Association, and Research Assistant to Dean Brietta Clark. Before joining the Zitser Family Law Group, Ms. Timm-Bijold worked at the Los Angeles HIV Law & Policy Project, Horvitz & Levy LLP, and Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
